North Stafford Band Room

Students: 8:30am - 12pm, Band Room

Parents: 11am Parent Meeting in NSHS Auditorium, 11:30am Band performance

12pm - Ice Cream Social

The orientation is where we get together for the first time. We start working on marching, music and spinning technique and start learning music. We will give a short performance for the parents at 11:30am followed by an ice cream social.

Registration and $100 down payment due for the 2024-35 Big Blue Marching Band season

3 PM - 8:30 PM (All members)

* One of these days is a Back-to School Night set by the county. The date has not been decided yet. See schedule for Back-to-School night below.

The date for Back to School Night has not been decided yet. Performance is mandatory, but students will be released after the performance to partake in back-to-school activities. Below is the band schedule for the Back-to-School night.

3pm – 5:30pm Band Camp Rehearsal (All Members)

5:30 – 6:10pm Back-to-School Performance.

Dismissed after performance.

2:15 PM - 5 PM. Mandatory!!!

First performance of the year!

6 PM, North Stafford H.S. Auditorium

The North Stafford Invitational is a marching competition we host. We have bands from all around the state come to compete against each other. We are the 2nd longest running show in Virginia and this is our 42nd annual. This is also a major fundraiser that allows us to keep the band fee down. This is a HUGE DEAL!!! It is important that we have all hands-on deck not only with the students but from the parents as well.

More information as we get closer but PLEASE reserve this date to help make this event run smoothly.
