We warmly invite you to join us for our 43rd Annual North Stafford Big Blue Marching Band Invitational!
The Big Blue Invitational is one of Virginia’s longest running marching competitions, bringing in bands and spectators from not only our many surrounding counties, but all throughout the state.
We are thrilled to host this annual event, where talented marching bands throughout Virginia showcase their musicianship and performance skills on the field.
Our judges include retired directors with wide-ranging experience, university music educators, and world class DCI staff.

All competing bands are invited to dedicate an Invitational award to your hardworking musician, their director, a staff member, or another important person who has inspired a love of music and performance.
